CAMNet's Goals for 2009-2010 include:
- Conduct the Fourth Annual CAMNet Rendezvous - the Network's signature event, bringing together AM and collaboration practitioners to share successes, challenges, and lessons learned from CAM projects and programs across the U.S.
- Upgrade the CAMNet Website - Provide links to CAM projects and programs, CAM practitioners, and key resource documents and articles for those applying CAM principles as well as those interested in learning more about the field.
- Offer CAM Training - Conduct an interactive workshop on CAM at the 2009 National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration (NCER).
- Document CAM Experience - Explore opportunities to produce journal articles focused on the application of collaborative adaptive management.
Additional details about what CAMNet endeavors to achieve, how the organization approaches its work, and the specific strategies that are being undertaken through CAMNet to achieve results are available in the CAMNet Strategic Plan (PDF). This Plan was developed collaboratively by the CAMNet Core Advisory Group with critical financial support provided through a grant from the Packard Foundation.
